Palm Print Dresses + Weekend Update
This weekend flew by and it was a great start to May! Friday night, Cam and I met up with friends at one of our favorite BYOB spots in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood called Irazu. The Costa Rican food there never disappoints!
Saturday, I went to two different zoos during the day. By 6:30 am, I was at Brookfield Zoo volunteering for a fundraiser for Best Buddies, an organization I’ve been a part of since 2009. Later that day, I made my way back downtown to meet up with some bloggers at Lincoln Park Zoo and Lincoln Park Conservatory. That’s where I took these photos, and also, by the way, where I got engaged!
I loved wearing this palm print dress. It’s incredibly comfortable and it flows so beautifully when you walk. I couldn’t help myself from twirling in it! 🙂 I wish I had it for our trip to Thailand, but I think this dress is great even if you’re not on vacation.
Anyway, back to my weekend. Saturday night, I hit the town with some friends. We started at The Flamingo Rum Club in River North, which felt like Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights Part Two, and then we continued out in the River North area. The next day, Cam, his friend and I went out for ramen and then treated ourselves to massages. It was a fun weekend!
Here’s the dress I’m wearing in the photo, and I curated some other great palm print dresses and swim suits below. Click the photos to shop. Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!
