My perpetual curiosity and knack for finding stories led me to spend five years working as a journalist for TV news affiliates such as ABC, NBC, CBS, and Telemundo. I finished my television career in Milwaukee, a top 40 market. Through this experience, I learned the art of visual storytelling and the power of video.
After working in television, I utilized my media experience to lead public relations for high-growth technology companies in Chicago. I developed integrated communications strategies, secured impactful press with influential news organizations such as the Wall Street Journal, Fox News, and CNBC, and learned how to tie compelling stories to business objectives.
One of the greatest takeaways I learned: video works. When used intelligently, video can send social media engagement soaring, build trust with a target audience, and drive customers down the sales funnel. This is how I found my niche in visual storytelling.
